Blue cabinet with white wash wood grain hand painted with a great white egret across the front door. The cabinet is approx. 28 inches high and 22 inches wide and a depth of 12 inches. It has one shelf inside the cabinet that can be adjusted to various heights. The white egret is a favorite shorebird because of its beauty.

Piping Plover Painting on Wood Table

The photo here is the right side of the hand painted table top showing three shore birds on the beach near the water. These little birds are often seen running along the sand where the waves are breaking along the shore. The plovers have orange colored legs and beaks whereas the sandpipers are a neutral tan and brown. This decorative table is 40 inches long with a depth of 15 inches and it has 2 drawers.

You can see the hand painted texture of the crackled paint underneath the acrylic painting of the shore birds.

Piping Plover and Sandpiper Birds Hand Painted On Table

The image here is a closeup view of one of the sandpiper birds that is hand painted on a wood table. There are 6 birds altogether with 4 sandpipers and 2 piping plovers. This is the first piping plover that I have hand painted on a table and it looks nice having a little variety. The photo here is of a sandpiper as he is running along the shore. The background is the crackle finish that I have applied to the entire table. It does make an interesting texture for the painting of the birds. I will be adding the the final details to the birds before adding the protective finish on the entire table. Check back to see how it comes out.

New Table Underway – Hand Painted Roses

I have started painting a nice table with a scalloped edge. I have decided to paint roses on the table. You can see the roses on the front of the table where I have drawn 2 of them in with pencil. I have a base coat of off-white on the whole table and I will be sponging paint on in different areas and then adding the roses.

The size of this table is 30″ high and 30″ wide and the circular top is 15″ at its widest point. The table is very solid and will look great is someones home. To get a better look at the table click on the photo at the top to see them enlarged.
